Imagine sitting atop your horse surveying the 360 degree views stretching out beneath you. Maketu is an area steeped in Maori history. Along the way you will see evidence of the early Maori occupation of the area. The ancestors of those people are still dwelling in our fascinating village today. Our horses are hardy crossbred types with quiet dependable natures We take 1-16 riders at a time(depending on experience.) Ride is suitable for beginner to advanced riders(we can usually accommodate faster pace for experienced riders)
