Whanganui River Adventures is a Maori tour business based in Pipiriki. Run by locals Ken (who has lived on the river from 2 yrs old) & Josephine Haworth - descendant of Ngati Kurawhatia hapu (Pipiriki).
Located at the Whanganui River National Park, we operate 12 months of the year, weather & river conditions permitting. Our main tour is the Whanganui River One Day Adventure, duration of 7 hours. It involves jet boating, scenic & historic stops, fully guided walk, and unguided canoe in the afternoon with return transport.
