Shotover Canyon Swing is adrenalinised adventure at its best. Travel 15 minutes from Queenstown in one of our vans, take a 3-minute bush walk and arrive at our scenic site. Our platform is 109m above the spectacular Shotover River.
You freefall 60m past rocky cliff faces into the canyon before the ropes smoothly pendulum you into a giant arc of 200m at 150kph.
There are two basic launch methods: jump yourself or be released from our special launch boom.
We are Qualmark endorsed and winners of 2008 in NZ Tourism Awards. We pride ourselves on offering trips with small groups sizes and not rushing the experience and there is often time to have more than one swing and try a different jumpstyle. Total trip is 2.5 hours.
