Not only can I show you great fishing on the Mataura River, but also many other rivers and streams less than an hours drive from Gore. The Mataura River offers the best 'match the hatch' fishing in New Zealand. You will need long leaders and fine tippets (3-4lb). If you like a challenge the Mataura won't disappoint you.
