2006 TOURISM AWARD WINNERS! Cruise the scenic Queen Charlotte Sound while learning about the dolphins, seals and seabirds (including the rare king shag) from qualified marine biologists & staff. We’ll land on Motuara Island bird sanctuary for a 1-hour guided bush walk to see blue penguins, robins, saddlebacks, bellbirds, and keruru before enjoying the breathtaking view across Cook Strait.
3-4-hour tours depart daily at 9:00am and 1:30pm. Try one of our ‘Wildlife Watch & Walk’ options where you can enjoy our ecotour before being dropped at historic Ship Cove. After exploring the area and playing with the resident weka birds, you’re free to walk the most popular segment of the Queen Charlotte Track and will be picked up later in the day.
