Mt Sandford Farm Stay & Random Rides

A combination of the traditional kiwi farm stay with BYO independent horse trekking where you can bring your own horse & ride through our beautiful farm, and then arrive home to a traditional farm cottage to relax. There are other activities such as fishing at the Huranui river (5 minutes by car), tramping around the farm, The Random Spur Road which is the old main road to Cheviot, it is approx 13 kilometres one way this can be ridden, walked, mountain biked or 4 wheel driven... We can also offer some farming activities: that you are welcome to participate in such as mustering & sheep & cattle work.
