Wairaurahiri Jet operates in Southern Fiordland all year round. We jet boat 54 kilometres on New Zealand’s wildest commercially jet boat-able river. Cruise 20kms across NZ's deepest lake (Hauroko), then down the wild Wairaurahiri River. Adventure, adrenalin and Fiordland’s breathtaking scenery awaits. Short guided walks and a kiwi style lunch are included.
Jet boat grade 3 rapids in our specially designed twin engine jet boat. Departs 9:15am from Clifden (on the Southern Scenic Route) or 10:00am from Lake Hauroko. Booking agent for Waitutu Lodge. For overnight stays we also link up with the Southcoast track and the Humpridge track for tramper’s one way transport.
