Mountain Valley is an ideal base for bush and mountain walking expeditions into the nearby Kaweka or Maunguhururu mountain ranges. You may opt for a 1 or 2 hour walk over our 260 acre property - we will provide you with a map and directions for some beautiful scenic walking. Alternatively, within an hour's drive are a variety of gentle to challenging day or multi day walks bush and mountain treks, with the option of some fabulous ridge walks, soaks in riverside hot pools, and a network of well maintained huts. Again, we will provide you with all the information you need, and offer a shuttle service to and from your start and finish point.
