Brian Baxter has, over the last 30 years, established himself as one of New Zealand's most sought after artists in the field of landscapes, still life’s and portraits, winning the prestigious Kelliher 1st prize in 1977.
Working in oils acrylics & watercolours in a "traditional representational style", he has exhibited in all N.Z. main centres as well as Adelaide Australia and Washington D.C. Except for field trips such as a third one recently to Europe, he now works mainly from his studio in Blenheim.
B&B guests are welcome to visit this studio, where the artist may be at work.
