The Rangatira Golf Club has three level terraces with outstanding views of the Rangitikei River, with well groomed fairways and watered greens which are flanked by a variety of mature exotic and ornamental trees and native bush. The course featured on the Sky TV Golf Show "Gem of a Country Course" 1999.
The unique feature is the electrically operated cable car ride from the 18th green on the lowest level, back to the club house. The course is situated on State Highway One 12 kms North of Hunterville in the Rangitikei.
