The Goldfields Tour visits Naseby, the Kyeburn diggings, the old Hamilton site and cemetery, the Styx Gaol, Paerau Valley and the celebrated Serpentine Church - travels through Lord of the Rings, Rohan country and then past a variety of local farms.
The High Country Special takes you over and beyond the Mount Ida range, visiting the old Mt Buster Goldfields, (at 4000 ft above sea level, one of the highest and richest in Otago) and follows the Tailings Creek. Then loops back to cross spectacular open tussocks.
