Backroads Bikes, Dunedin’s premier motorcycle rental service, offers a unique service to visitors and locals alike.
We have adventure-style motorcycles – and motorcycle riding gear available, to enjoy the world class scenery and roads that the lower South Island has to offer. Imagine the thrill of swooping around the sea shore on the Otago peninsula, or heading into Central Otago – unbeatable!
All bikes are equipped with lockable hard luggage (panniers or top-box), heated hand-grips and are in new condition, as is the riding gear. Full insurance and road-side assistance is included in the rental fee.
Rental requirements include a full motorcycle licence, 25 years of age minimum, and a refundable bond to cover any damage.
