Auckland’s most unique 1 day tour. We visit a Marae to be welcomed by the Maori. We meet the Maori artists, weavers and storytellers, & they will talk about their art, the symbolic nature of the woodcarvings and even get the chance have a go at singing and weaving in a totally interactive experience.
We venture up to the world famous One Tree Hill, and talk about the giant Maori fortress that was once there. It’s then off to taste some unique Kiwi samplers at the Carnegie Library. No visit would be complete without seeing our most famous icon the Kiwi. See our native wildlife on a guided tour of Auckland Zoo. Then it’s time to relax & spend time viewing our most scenic points of Mission bay, Bastion Point and Mt Eden to finish our tour.
