Join a No.8 Farm Tour to experience the rural life of New Zealand.

Based in the Bay of Plenty, our full and half day trips visit working farms, offering an insight into the lives of New Zealand farming families. Climb aboard our 4WD vehicle from Tauranga for fun, informative tours of a variety of farms including sheep, deer and dairy.

Learn something of the history of New Zealand farming, its challenges and the innovations that have taken place in developing New Zealand’s largest export industry.

You might even pick up a bit of ‘cocky’ terminology, from those who work the land. Find out about the ‘number 8 wire’ philosophy synonymous with Kiwis and deeply ingrained within the New Zealand farming culture.
