The Bay of Plenty is the Kiwifruit capital of the world! Seasonal orchard work is available all year, but peak months are April till September. Kiwifruit picking is available from mid - end of March through to June, then pruning starts. There is work outdoors in Orchards or indoors in the pack houses, grading sheds and cool stores.
