A dedication to food excellence means Stratosfare offers meat sourced from likeminded growers and farmers from Mangatu Farms in Gisborne. Working their ancestral lands for over 200 years, these farmers know exactly where the meat has come from and how it was reared and fed, allowing us to serve you an undeniably fresh and totally New Zealand dining experience.

Ogle over our displays of steak, venison, lamb, whole crayfish and Morton Bay Bugs, before selecting your cut for our executive chef, Fred Kreutmayer to flame grill to perfection. The restaurant is designed so you enjoy a relationship with the chef showcasing their culinary skills through kitchen theatre. A favourite is Wagyu Angus Scotch fillet, aged for 14 days, cooked exactly to your taste. All of these prime cuts are served on hot iron plates with pastry baskets of crisp stir fried vegetables with mushroom sauce.

Make sure you start the night with our famous seafood chowder and freshly baked artisan breads, then head to our buffet designed to tantalise your taste buds with delectable seasonal salads, anti-pasto selection, deli-cured meats and freshly prepared dishes including Indian, Italian, Asian, casseroles and roasts. And why not head over to our tidal mussel tank for the freshest mussels you’ll taste, try one of our mussel recipes on offer developed in conjunction with 2014 Masterchef winners Kasey and Karena Bird.

Pricing is from $54 per adult for lunch including return Gondola trip and dinner from $64.00 per adult. We also offer our night diners the opportunity to upgrade their dining experience from $10 per person with our Premium Cure Cabinet Cuts range grilled to perfection by our chefs.
