Enjoy a fun & informative guided walking tour (taken by a local writer). See key historic literary sites and quirky new literary endeavors- all of which celebrate why Dunedin is a UNESCO City of Literature. As well as picturesque landmarks and historic buildings, you will hear stories and anecdotes about famous NZ writers: their lives, their work and their love of Dunedin. There are two tour options: and bookings are essential. A 90-minute central city walk, which leaves from the i-Site in the Octagon at 2 pm daily (depending on demand). Or, a longer 2-hour University of Otago walk (at 10.30 am on Tues/Thurs and Sunday mornings - depending on demand) from outside the Uni's Visitors' centre (cnr of Cumberland/St David's Street).
