A windswept rough coastline and moving hills of dark sand portray Muriwai Beach, one of Auckland's most prominent beaches. Muriwai Beach is more or less 42 km northwest of Auckland.
It is an extraordinary view of the dark sand, created by the iron substance derived from the old volcanoes in the area surrounded by the native bush. If you love surfing then it is the main pastime at Muriwai Beach.
Also you can see on of the country's few mainland Gannet breeding colonies that migrate to Australia and back. The views from the colony are very impressive. There is always something extra when you are with us, as exclusive service, we will take you to visit local wineries for a wine tasting for a memorable tour.
