The Hump Ridge Track winds 55km across some of NZ’s wildest land, through the pristine Fiordland National Park and over private and Maori land. The track heads along the south coast of NZ, up to the sub-alpine zone of the Hump Ridge with panoramic views over Stewart Island and the Southern Ocean, and down to historic viaducts in the heart of native forest.
Our two lodges are in superb locations, each providing a distinctive stopping point along the walk. The chance to swim with rare Hector’s dolphins, see the true wilderness of Fiordland, and relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine are just some of the unique aspects of our track.
We offer both small-group guided trips and independent tramping. Upgrade options are available.
