Mou Waho Island is a predator free nature reserve that can only be accessed by boat. The island is home to many New Zealand native birds. Our experienced local guide will point out the different birds and show you the secrets of the island. From the top of the island, you will enjoy breathtaking views out over Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. Boat cruise back to Wanaka and enjoy lunch in one of the many great cafes.
After lunch, guests will enjoy a scenic drive around the lake to West Wanaka Station. This is a working farm that sits on the edge of Mount Aspiring National Park. Explore the rugged backcountry terrain from the comfort of the 4WD before stopping incredible viewpoint high above Lake Wanaka.
