Enter the world of Weta Workshop with There and Back Again: The Full Experience, a guided round trip by Weta Studio Tours! You’ll enjoy return transfers from Wellington i-SITE to Weta Studio Tours. Your driver will highlight iconic film sites during your journey.
A Weta Workshop crew member will then guide you on a tour through a converted area of the Workshop. Get up close to the costumes and weapons from films like The Lord of the Rings and Avatar. See artists working on our tour stage and learn the secrets behind the movie magic! You’ll then step foot onto a real shooting stage with a journey through the authentic models and miniatures built by Weta Workshop for the popular children’s TV show, Thunderbirds Are Go!

- Bookings on request only, please email bookings@wetaworkshop.co.nz to request a booking. Tour departs daily at 1.30pm from outside the Wellington i-SITE and includes return transport from the Wellington CBD to Weta Studio Tours. Guests must be outside the Wellington i-SITE (Wakefield Street, opposite the West Plaza Hotel) at least 15 minutes before their tour is due to depart. Please note that we are not able to offer child car seats or wheelchair accessibility for the coach.
