Infants under 2yrs - Free. Children 2-11yrs - $10.00 per night. Campervans please note: We do not have a dump station but there is one in Kerikeri. We are on rainwater collection so please fill your water before arrival as supply is limited in summer. Thankyou for your understanding.

Cancellation Policy angle-down

Campground guests will be charged 25% of the total price if they cancel after reservation and the total price if they cancel within 7 days of their arrival. Cancellation fees will be waived if guests are unable to travel owing to Government restrictions or mandates relating to COVID 19.

This secluded island is a 12-hectare ecological sanctuary in the Kerikeri Inlet, 12km north-east of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands. Vehicle access via a causeway from the mainland. Aroha Island offers bush fringed or waterside campsites, glamping. Powered & unpowered sites. Kitchen & ablutions block. BBQ & picnic area under a large gazebo.

Overnight guests have the chance to encounter kiwi in their natural habitat. Our Eco Centre is open daily and provides information about the natural and cultural history of this unique place. A perfect venue for a relaxing holiday escape, school camps, scout groups, etc. BYO kayaks or paddle boards. Picnic or swim on the inlet beach. Bush walks, bird and wildlife watching. Boat ramps nearby.
