Tours may be cancelled due to severe weather or hazards on the track. You will be notified by 8 PM the night before. If cancelled due to weather or hazards a credit will be issued. If no suitable dates are available, a refund can be arranged (minus the booking fee).
Cancellation needs to happen 48 hours prior to booking date, however please call, we are here to help.
Start your journey with a short ride up the Moanui valley where we will enter onto the back part of a working deer farm. On exiting the farm the terrain becomes more rugged descending down onto some large open clearings, there will be many creek crossings, narrow gorges, Steep climbs and also Steep decants, This journey will show case the constantly changing environment of the New Zealand native bush. We will end our tour with a optional 15 minute walk along a dividing ridge between Tairawhiti Gisborne and The Bay of Plenty with 360 degree views at its highest point.
