Your Great Taste Trail experience starts immediately after your briefing and you have been fitted to your bike or ebike as the Trail starts right on our doorstep at our Nelson Airport Base. You will cycle 26kms alongside coastal wetlands across estuary boardwalks and a swing bridge and finish with a short ferry crossing from Rabbit Island to the vibrant seaside township of Mapua. You will have opportunities for wine and beer tastings as well as visit cafes, lunch at vineyard cafes or perhaps see glassblowing along the way. Maybe you will swim at Rabbit island's pristine white sand beach. Linger over fresh berry icecreams or smoked fish on the wharf, captivated by the estuary's sparkling waters before we transport you back to Nelson.
