About

An afternoon journey with sensational evening light. This tour starts well and gets better with every turn on the road, leading us a long a majestic granite coast clad in Pohutukawa, to the very tip of the peninsula and views to Great Barrier Island.

Optional walk The Muriwai Track - A picturesque 1 hour walk along the dramatic coastal cliff tops to the sacred Wharekaiatua Pa and then down to Port Jackson Beach. A very high reward short walk.

Although light refreshments are provided, you may wish to bring your own picnic dinner to enjoy during the longer summer days as our return is timed to enjoy the sunset down the western coastline.
