About

Our eco-tours journey through the natural, geological and historical features of Christchurch’s coastal environment and communities, including earthquake affected areas. Discover timeworn volcanoes, rock formations, caves, wetlands, estuary, dunes, sandspit, harbour & bays, lost & broken suburbs, flora & fauna and more. Various tour options take in the popular seaside village of Sumner; the headlands of Scarborough; the lovely, wild Taylors Mistake beach; the Port Hills crater rim, the Southshore Sandpit and the Ihutai/Avon-Heathcote Estuary. The estuary and spit feature an amazing array of birdlife, including the world-renowned godwits. All our tours are backdropped with captivating views and include short walks.
