One of New Zealand’s premium tourist destinations, Queenstown offers three world-renowned championship golf courses and six Experience courses.

Queenstown
Arrowtown, Queenstown

Jacks’ Point(opens in new window), on the shores of Lake Wakitipu opposite The Remarkables mountain range encourages the debate as to whether golf or scenery is the hero. In Arrowtown, there are two Marquee golf courses sitting almost side by side. Millbrook Resort, co-host of the 2016 New Zealand Open is a resort with 27 holes and incorporates 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. Another co-host of the event is The Hills, located on the doorstep of historic Arrowtown. The 18 holes play through native tussock and outcrops of schist. Millions of dollars of sculpture line the course providing one of the most unique golf experiences of the world.

Nearby you’ll find two Experience courses – Arrowtown Golf Club and Queenstown Golf Club. The former offers a rustic, rocky, mountainous setting while the latter is a peninsula course, jutting out onto Lake Wakitipu. Also in the region is the Cromwell Golf Club, widely considered one of the best inland links courses in New Zealand.

All five courses are within 30 minutes of Queenstown, known for its plethora of activities, cuisine, wine, and the gateway to the breathtaking Milford Sound

Two additional Experience courses can be found in the coastal city of Dunedin, which is about a three and half hour scenic drive from Queenstown. Dunedin is home to Otago Golf Club, the oldest club in the Southern Hemisphere, and Chisholm Links Golf Club. Two more Experience courses can be found in the coastal town of Invercargill - Southland Golf Club (Oreti Sands) and Invercargill Golf Club. Invercargill is south of Queenstown and is the gateway to Stewart Island.
