New Zealand’s capital city Wellington – will welcome The British & Irish Lions for two matches during their 2017 series.
The British and Irish Lions will play Super Rugby franchise the Hurricanes on 27 June and the second test of the tour will be against the All Blacks on 1 July. The matches will be played at Wellington Regional Stadium - colloquially known as the ‘Cake Tin’ due to its circular shape and silver external walls.
Fans can expect a lively time in Wellington – the city is renowned for hosting vibrant events that spill throughout the streets.
Be sure to soak up the festival atmosphere on the waterfront, where a special Fan Zone and Fan Trail will be in action from 27 June – 1 July.
