    Day 1: Auckland

    Arrive in Auckland and spend the day getting to know, the vibrant ‘City of Sails’. With outstanding food, natural attractions, and plenty of adventure, Auckland makes for a unique urban experience.

    Climb the Auckland Harbour Bridge and take in the vistas of New Zealand’s biggest city, from the city centre to the island dotted Hauraki Gulf. While you’re there, take a bungy jump off the bridge to touch the ocean below. For more adventure, board a jet boat for a thrilling high speed trip around the harbour.

    Change pace in the afternoon and stroll through the modern Britomart Precinct before savouring Auckland’s lively nightlife scene.

    Drive north from Auckland to the Bay of Islands, a sub-tropical paradise known for its coastline, islands, history and wildlife.

    Spend the afternoon exploring the region, starting with the Waitangi Treaty Ground, New Zealand's most important historic site. Soak up the unique charm of Russell, Opua and Kerikeri, before heading back to Paihia for the night.

    Spend the following out on the water, exploring the Bay of Islands’ emerald waters.
