Queenstown’s newest accommodation offering has many surprises in store for guests, all of them of the pleasant variety.
The first surprise is the location, refreshingly different. The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of the township, in a peaceful location that faces north (which is important down in this part of the world as it means you get all day sunshine), and is located right on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. Most hotels in Queenstown have roads, shops and hills between you and the lake but not the Hilton, just a short stroll from your room and you are on the lakeside.
The second surprise is the rooms. All are large, spacious and feel like small suites. Be sure to book either a lakeview room, or better yet a relaxation room which comes with both a lakeview and a personal spa on your deck, wonderful!
The hotel has further surprises in store.
Foodies will relish the selection of restaurants and bar’s on offer (five) including the popular ‘Stacks Pub’ and wonderful ‘Wakatipu Grill’.
Those wanting a little exercise can take a scenic stroll along the public lakeside path, do some laps in the 25m indoor heated pool, or work out in the fully equipped fitness centre.
After a hard day’s sightseeing how about a treat courtesy of Eforea: Spa at Hilton. Ten treatment rooms including couples rooms and a range of Spa treatments are the perfect way to compliment your Queenstown stay.
Queenstown itself with its range of boutique stores, huge array of restaurants and bars is just a pleasant 10 minute water taxi ride away so there is no reason to feel left out of the action.
One final surprise is all the extras available . Ski Rental, Mountain Bike Rental and hairdresser are just some of the additional services on offer at the Hilton Hotel and the adjacent Kawarau Village.
Hilton Queenstown, what more could you ask for?
