Enjoy the Hamilton Gardens’ Riverbank walkway which winds alongside the Waikato River offering picturesque river views through established trees. It is particularly spectacular in autumn with the colourful leaves and rich ground cover.
Spend an afternoon with family and friends, or bring along your pooch who will happily take a dip in the river while chasing sticks.
An easy five minute walk from the Turtle Lake carpark, this secluded spot is a hidden gem of the Gardens.
