- CHANGES OR CANCELLATION OF EXPEDITIONS BY ALBATROSS V LIMITED All itineraries are subject to change at Albatross V Limited’s discretion. Reasons for change or cancellation of an expedition may include, but are not limited to, demand, weather and sea conditions or operational and safety requirements. If an expedition is cancelled or rescheduled by Albatross V Limited, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges). Albatross V Limited is not liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, or for rescheduling or relocation of a service, including any travel and accommodation expenses Albatross V Limited will offer a refund or transfer if it cancels an expedition. Albatross V Limited does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS BY PASSENGERS Expeditions Full payment is required at time of booking to confirm your reservation. No refunds will be given for cancellations made by passengers within 24 hours of travel time. Passengers must travel on the time and date that has been booked with passes displaying the correct time and date of travel. Expedition passes cannot be refunded unless the expedition is cancelled. However, passes can be transferred to another date if requested at least 24 hours prior to departure date and time, subject to availability. Charters A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation or booking for a charter in which case it will be a non-refundable payment. Payment of a deposit forms part of the final payment and means you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Fares Infants (up to 5 years) No charge when accompanied by a fare paying passenger Children (5 to 12 years) 50% of adult fare Adult Full fare Seniors Discount available All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Services Tax. BOARDING REQUIREMENTS Passengers must be ready to board at least 20 mins prior to departure time. Passengers wishing to travel must present a valid boarding pass. All boarding passes must be used in accordance with any time, date and/or special conditions indicated on the pass, and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. OTHER OPERATORS Albatross V Limited may sell services of other operators who are not connected with Albatross V Limited and whose operations are outside the control of Albatross V Limited. Albatross V Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for the service provided by those operators except as required by law. TERMS OF TRAVEL Instructions from the master and crew of Albatross V must be adhered to at all times while boarding or disembarking, and during expeditions. Under no circumstance are pets or bicycles permitted on Albatross V. Albatross V masters and crew reserve the right to refuse passengers, or to remove any passenger who: causes distress to Albatross V staff or other passengers; partakes in unlawful activities affecting staff of Albatross V or other passengers; is deemed unfit to travel or under the influence of drugs or alcohol; cannot produce a valid ticket, pass or booking reference; displays unruly, offensive or abusive behaviour or language; contravenes or breaches any of the Terms and Conditions; fails to follow any safety or operational instructions issued by Albatross V staff and crew; or for any other reason where the safety or security of staff, crew or passengers may be at risk. Albatross V Limited is not responsible for any injury to passengers or damage to property for any reason whatsoever. CHILDREN Parents or guardians are solely responsible for the behaviour and safety of children in their care or under their supervision whilst travelling and partaking in activities. Under no circumstances are Albatross V Limited or their staff, masters or crew responsible for the supervision or care of any child whether they are partaking in activities, unaccompanied or travelling with their parent or guardian. SWIMMING OR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES Under no circumstance should unfit or non competent swimmers engage in water activities. Albatross V Limited crew and staff have the right to refuse boarding or partaking in activities to any passenger they consider too young or not competent or fit. SMOKING Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted on Albatross V. ALBATROSS V GIFT VOUCHERS Albatross V Limited Gift Vouchers may be redeemed by booking online or over the phone. Gift Vouchers will expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and can only be used for available Expeditions.
