If provided with phone numbers, we will attempt to stay in contact regarding weather and conditions affecting night-time Star Trek Laser Tours and arrange an alternative time or tour if the weather is not suitable by our judgement. If conditions are unsafe and force us to close, we will try to offer an alternative date or tour.
Stonehenge Aotearoa is not a replica of Stonehenge in England. It is a complete and working structure designed for its precise location in New Zealand. Situated in the Wairarapa countryside, Stonehenge Aotearoa is a window into the past where the visitor can rediscover the knowledge of their ancestors. It incorporates ancient Egyptian, Babylonian & Indus Valley astronomy, Polynesian navigation, & Celtic and Maori Starlore modern astronomy. Please check our website: stonehenge-aotearoa.nz for the current opening hours. Self-guided treks are available during opening hours. Allow 90 minutes for a Guided tour of the henge during the day or sunset. At night time Star Trek Laser Tour is available. These guided tours must be booked in advance.
