Kawarau Jet Rotorua
For the ultimate adrenaline rush you can’t beat Kawarau Jet and K-Jet Parasailing. The Kawarau jet boat takes you on a 30 minute action packed ride on Lake Rotorua. Complete with the power of a V8 engine you will experience speed, spins and have some amazing sightseeing thrown in along the way.
As well as speeding across Lake Rotorua, Kawarau Jet have other packages available including travelling across Lake Rotorua to the Ohau channel, then onto Lake Rotoiti, finishing at the peaceful Manupirua Hot Pools.
The K-jet parasailing experience lets you take off from dry land, then a boat will tow you as you drift up to 400 feet high so you can see over Rotorua and beyond. This is an incredible experience you can do solo or tandem all year round.

Their 2 hour tour heads straight out for “Splashdown” into Lake Okareka. The journey continues past the sacred Lake Rotokakahi (Green Lakes) onto Lake Tarawera to view the magnificent volcanic domes of Mount Tarawera and hear stories of the devastating Tarawera eruption of 1886. Your return trip brings into view Te Wairoa (Buried Village) before splashing down into Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake), your third lake visit, before heading back into town.
