Are you between 13-18 years old and looking for a challenge? The Tīkapa Moana Youth Explorer programme is just for you! You will collaborate with others to complete individual and group goals, learn new life skills, and forge friendships along the way. This experience will test your resilience and decision-making skills while giving you a great sense of personal achievement. The programme is focused on sailing and kayaking, where you'll learn navigation, how to read weather, set a course, cook for a group and more. You will kayak and camp in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Put your map reading and navigational skills to use, learn about Leave No Trace, and how each of the 7 principles applies to the present environment.
