Air Ruatoria was established in 2020 to provide manuhiri to the East Coast with insights and an experience which show cases the people and places of Ngāti Porou. This includes the sun rise over Hikurangi Maunga our sacred mountain, flying over the Waiapu Valley to the mouth of our Awa tipuna while enjoying the large landscapes of this remote part of Aotearoa. Owned and operated by local people, Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori and Te Ao Māori is central to this unique cultural experience. Te haumaru mo ngā manuhiri (safety for our guests) is key to us so is experience, we offer both and will Manaaki you and your whanau. Nau mai hara mai ki Air Ruatoria.
