Twisted Twig is located halfway between Rotorua and Whakatane, just 45 minutes in each direction, and only an hour from Tauranga. Inside the hut, there is a queen-sized bed and a comfortable couch to relax. Stay cosy and warm with both indoor and outdoor fires. An undercover kitchen and dining area have everything you need to cook and enjoy a delicious alfresco meal. A bathroom, a few metres away from the hut, includes an outdoor bath, bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase 'forest bathing'. Enjoy watching the fantails flit through the bush from the comfort of the swinging egg chair on the deck. Listen to the symphony of native birdsong fills the air, and with a touch of luck, you may even catch a glimpse of a kiwi.
