2 days one night self guided tour on the Great Taste Trail. Cycle the coastal wetlands to Mapua where you stay in a lovely B&B. Day 2 cycle out in the Moutere to explore the wine country. We will pick you up at Motueka & transfer you back to Nelson.

Deposit/tour price will be refunded as follows: Nelson Cycle Hire reserves the right to charge a one- off cancellation fee. 61 plus days - 100% of tour sum less $50 fee 31-60 days - 75% of tour sum 14-30 days - 50% of tour sum 0-14 days – tours of 2 days or more, no refund 0-14 days – one day tours are transferable or subject to 50% refund Cycle hire bookings are fully transferable or refundable without penalty if cancelled prior to booked commencement time.
An idyllic leisurely weekend enjoying Tasman's multiple tastes & arts scene, not to mention amazing scenery accessed from your bicycle on the Great Taste Trail. Taste the difference in the wines of the gravelly Waimea plains on Day 1 compared to those of the rolling clay hills of the Moutere on Day 2. For beer lovers there's plenty of great artisan breweries & a free house at New Zealand's oldest pub. There's history in the Moutere & great food & if wine or beer are not your thing you can enjoy the region's thriving arts scene and just revel in the beauty of the countryside around you. Bring your swimwear too as there is great swimming at the pristine white sand beaches of Rabbit Island which you cross to take the cycle ferry to Mapua.
