Linen if required for your night aboard
The tour is designed for two people, usually couple or friends, we can cater for solo sailors and groups of up to four. One child may accompany each paying adult.
Deposit required to secure booking. Balance payable 30 days prior to commencement of tour (or immediately if less than 30 days). If we can cancel for safety (eg weather) sailors will be offered a reschedule or refund. Cancellations by sailor more than 30 days refund less administration fee. Cancellatins witing 30 days no refund. We will try and cater for reasonable requests to change dates.
Suitable for beginners, this fun two-day practical course gives you an excellent introduction to sailing. Safe and enjoyable, you’ll be out sailing with your instructor each day; gaining new skills, exploring the bays and stopping in secluded coves for lunch. You have the boat to yourself for your night aboard.
Tailored private training for two to four sailors. You'll have the boat and a qualified, experienced instructor to yourselves. You'll learn essential safety skills and basic sailing lingo, have a go with tacking, gybing and other crew positions on the boat, you'll even get to helm.
No prior experience is required. By the end of the course, you should have your Level 1 Yachting NZ Keelboat qualification.
