Laura was accompanying her husband Chad on a beautiful winter morning to see him jump out of a plane from 15,000ft over Glenorchy!
When the driver of the Skydive Paradise van enquired why she wasn’t keen on skydiving herself she said it was something she would never do.
The driver looked at her nervous smile and said he thought she should jump out of the plane with her husband.
After a stunning 45 minute drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy the couple reached the Skydive Paradise drop zone located in a beautiful setting surrounded by snow-capped mountains at the head of Lake Wakatipu.
The friendly Skydive Paradise team were determined to make sure Laura jumped out of the plane with her husband as they knew she’d be disappointed if she didn’t take the plunge.
Explaining how it would be an experience she’ll cherish for a lifetime and isn’t as scary as it sounds, they managed to win her over and there she was scared and nervous but excited to do something so amazing with her one and only!
She smiled nervously as she boarded the flight of a lifetime.
The Skydive Paradise crew waited patiently on the ground as she flew the skies with a grin from ear to ear.
As she landed she kissed Chad, thanked the instructors and the crew for talking her into one of the biggest challenges she’d ever face.
