Rotorua

Rotorua

Surrounded by mountains, rivers, native forests and 18 fresh water lakes, Rotorua's the perfect place to reconnect with nature.

Give mountain biking, horse riding or fishing a go today - or, if you're feeling adventurous, why not try one of the uniquely Kiwi attractions on offer? Go Zorbing, Schweebing, ziplining or luging. Rotorua is also home to the highest commercially rafted waterfall in the world.

For families, there's a great range of leisure and wildlife parks - Agrodome, Paradise Valley, and Rainbow Springs to name a few.

Be greeted with a Hongi, a traditional Maori greeting, in Rotorua.
