5 really cool places to walk in Wellington

Want to get some exercise? Here's a list I've made of the best 5 walks to do in Wellington. Including a few of the Walking tours in Wellington.

So you've arrived and you've walked up and down Courtenay Place and now you want to do something different... As a local here are 5 fun walks in Wellington that are really great.

1. Otari Bush Track

Short on money - this is the free version of Zealandia, and a very fun place to take a picnic, dangle your feet in a river or touch an 800 year old tree!

2. Tinakori Road.

Now - this place is actually pretty amazing if you want to jump back into Wellington's history. You can guide yourself down the road.

3. Botanical Gardens at night. (especially over summer)

This is very easy on the foot and should not be missed at all. A ton of native, non-native trees and plants. My favourite is the herb garden, because you can taste them...

4. Skyline Walkway

This is best at the sunset, as it looks out west past the wind turbines.

5. Cuba St

Venture up and down the alley ways of Cuba St and explore the story of the most unique street of New Zealand's history.

Of course there are more, send me a message and I can help you find what you wanna see.
