Experience the pure adventure and exhilaration of Via Ferrata where you can climb in one of New Zealand’s most dramatic scenic settings. Via Ferrata means "iron road" in Italian and is a series of steps, fixed into the rock face and supported by a safety cable. This system allows anyone with moderate fitness to scale heights that are normally only accessible to experienced rock climbers. Each route is engineered to provide a range of difficulty and challenge whilst you uncover the most spectacular views over Queenstown and the mighty Lake Wakatipu. With 12 routes, covering over 300 vertical meters of varying degrees of difficulty, there is a perfect route to scale and conquer no matter what your ability.
