About

Established in 1993, Moutere Hills Vineyard is dry farmed on Moutere Clay gravels. The sunny days and cool nights give the white wines a lovely fruit density and minerality, the reds display fine tannins and forest floor characters. Forsters restaurant and cellar door overlooks the vineyard in an idyllic setting. Produce is sourced locally and the fare prepared by NZ Lamb and Beef ambassador Chef Alistair Forster. Choose one of the many dishes designed to accompany the extensive range of Moutere Hills estate grown wines. Adjoining the restaurant is the rustic Fox n Grapes bar, open every Friday night from 6pm with your hosts (vineyard owners) Rusty & Lisa.
