About

Waiheke’s Community Art Gallery - Te Whare Taonga o Waiheke is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting visual arts in New Zealand, alongside the cultural activities of Waiheke Island.
Our calendar of monthly exhibitions ensures there is always something to see.
Annual features include the prestigious Walker and Hall Art Award, the Small Sculpture Prize. Biennial events include the Waiheke Artist in Residence programme and our major outdoor exhibition Sculpture on the Gulf which transforms the Matiatia walkway.

The gallery is open 7 days a week 10am – 4pm and entry is free. We look forward to welcoming you. Bespoke tours of artist's studios and sculpture locations are available on request.
