About
This post run provides an essential connection between town and rural communities and passengers get to experience that first hand. In addition to delivering mail, Gordon delivers veterinary supplies, shop goods and courier packages.
Gordon is a wonderful story teller and genuine ‘kiwi’ character. He has been delivering mail on this stretch of road for the last nine years and loves his job, so much. “It’s really a slice of paradise down here that I’d like to share with others,” says Gordon.
Passengers have an opportunity to see the fur seal colony on the southern coast, visit the villages of Pirinoa, Lake Ferry and Ngawi as well as climb the 253 steps to the top of Cape Palliser lighthouse.
