Mt Cook is one of New Zealand's 'must see' iconic landmarks. its sheer beauty and breath taking landscape makes it one of the most visited sights in the South Island.
If you are travelling on a cruise ship, a helicopter flight to the region is the only way to see it. The flight is one of the most spectacular you will ever undertake and is not to be missed. sure its not cheap but, don't get home and say "I wish I had done that", it could be your only opportunity and you most certainly will not be disappointed.
We can land on one of the many glaciers for those awe-inspiring photo's, have lunch at the Hermitage Hotel and visit the Sir Edmund Hilary centre, an educational delight.
