We begin in Greymouth, by the clock tower at 8.30am and head up the famous Coast Road, stopping at several unique scenic locations that will leave you speechless (or unable to stop talking about them). This takes the entire morning, after which you will be treated to your choice of lunch venues. Will it be a wild meat pie from the West Coast Pie Company or a visit to Westport's top cafe? (Caters for GF, DF, Vegan, Vegetarian, allergies and sensitivities). Then (Tuesday to Saturday) a beer tasting at the Shortjaw Brewery. We drive the beautiful Lower Buller Gorge to Reefton, for a gin tasting in this historic town. We end the day driving along the pretty Grey Valley back to Greymouth. 8 - 9 hours. Mild fitness - steps and medium inclines.
