Glenfalloch Woodland Garden is a garden of four definate seasons, exagerated by the microclimate that extends growing time and nurtures the plants growth and deepends the rich summer and autumn colours. Mature oak, walnut, elm, horse chestnut, birch, english beech and other imported and native trees pay homage to a 1,020 plus year old Matai tree which has pride of place in the upper garden.
The newly furbished Chalet Restaurant which is tucked away in the heart of the garden amongst rhododendrons and ferns is a lovely experience and it has the feeling of bringing the garden inside. There is almost always a crackling fire on and scrumptious food options can be ordered from the All Day Menu. The restaurant is open weekly from Thursdays to Sunday 11am till 3.30pm.
