Day 1 / 13

Arrive in Auckland

A vibrant city of harbours, beaches and islands, Auckland is known as the “City of Sails”. New Zealand’s largest city is dotted with 48 extinct volcanic cones and is a place to enjoy marine adventures, wine trails, forest walks and urban sophistication. Today, check into your hotel and freshen up before taking a stroll in the viaduct on the edge of the harbour. Home to delicious restaurants, buzzing nightlife and beautiful views, the viaduct is the perfect place to begin your New Zealand experience.

While you're here, look out towards the harbour - this is where the Duke and Duchess squared off in their very own America's Cup experience. You too can experience this for yourself with the Explore - America's Cup Sailing Experience.

Auckland Central

This is the heart of Auckland, with a relaxed coastal living vibe by day and a night-time energy shared by the inner-city suburbs that surrounds it.
